Launched in 1961 and in production for twenty years, the ref. 3445 was the first simple calendar wristwatch produced by Patek Philippe in a series. With the aesthetically beautiful and highly functional self-winding caliber 27-460, this date watch was available with or without a bracelet and with a variety of different dials. The cases by Antoine Gerlach were made in 18K yellow gold, white gold, rose gold, and platinum.
In white gold, the ref. 3445 takes on a particularly understated and modern character. The clean classic case with angled lugs, useful date aperture, and automatic movement make this reference one of the most wearable vintage Patek Philippe watches ever made. Elegant, discreet, and perfectly proportioned, it remains as useful today as it was when first introduced in the 1960s.
