PATEK PHILIPPE LADIES STEEL NAUTILUS REF. 4700/1A

With its instantly recognizable, boldly designed case and bracelet, together with its black matte ribbed dial, this unique design is nothing short of wearable art. This ladies version of the Nautilus, the ref. 4700/1A was first made in 1981. This first generation example features the distinctive black date wheel as opposed to the white date wheels seen in the 1990s and later. Like its big brother, the ref. 3700, the cases of the ref. 4700/1A were made by Favre Perret and the dials by Stern Frères. This well preserved example just back from Patek Philippe service is ready to wear and makes a large statement for a relatively small watch.
