PATEK PHILIPPE MINUTE REPEATING POCKET WATCH, REF. 772

This historically important minute repeater is a stunningly beautiful example of mid 20th century case and dial making combined with a 17 lignes Patek Philippe movement finished to the highest standards. Made for a scion of the famed American Du Pont family, this watch features the original fob, presentation cuvette, as well the original owner’s initials elegantly engraved on the case back. The movement, which has just been serviced, is exceptionally preserved and one can see the HOX engraved near the balance confirming this watch was made for the American market. The mint, unrestored dial with Breguet numbers is housed in a Patek Philippe bassine style case with hidden hinges, the ultimate sign of the finest case making of the era.
