PATEK PHILIPPE YELLOW GOLD AND ENAMEL POCKET WATCH WITH SPADE HANDS
This gentleman’s pocket watch was made for the Boston retailer Shreve, Crump and Low. With an engraved and enameled case band and bezel, this watch is a classic example of the ‘Murat’ style of the 1920s. The silvered dial features applied hand-cut gold Breguet numerals, and elegant blue-steel spade hands. Note the name of the retailer was engraved by Patek Philippe Geneva on the movement, an elegant flourish that is occasionally seen on watches for the USA and Canadian market during the late 19th and early 20th century. The triangular pendant hand engraved with a floral motif tops off this elegant piece from a bygone era.
