This fresh-to-market pocket watch was originally retailed by Hope Brothers in Knoxville, Tennessee. See this link to see the storefront from which this watch was originally sold in 1919. The bezel, winding base and case back bezel are elegantly enameled in the Greek Key pattern. The Greek-style numerals compliment the overall aesthetic of this 103 year old classic. Note the name of the retailer was engraved by Patek Philippe Geneva on both the inner case bezel and the movement, an elegant flourish that is occasionally seen on watches for the US market during the late 19th and early 20th century.
