PATEK PHILIPPE PLATINUM REF.425P
In production from 1934 – 1960, the ref. 425 was and still is one of the most recognizable mid-century looks in the Patek Philippe design vocabulary. Its iconic, faceted rectangular case, dial configuration, and vaulted glass crystal are archetypal elements for a watch made in the 1930s. This elegant example features an all-platinum and diamond aesthetic within the famous ‘Tegolino’ case. The case, named so due to its resemblance of a classic Italian cake, was made by the celebrated Genevan case maker Markowski, and the dial by no other than Stern Frères, and to top it off, the caliber 9-90 is a Patek Philippe mechanical work of art.
