The Ellipse ref. 3738/100J was first launched in 1984 in 18K yellow and white gold. Numerous dial options were offered and this is one of the rarest: gilt with roman numerals. This example from 1986 is beautifully preserved and ready-to-wear. The monochrome look of the yellow gold case and gilt dial make the watch look quite large on the wrist yet it still fits comfortably.
