Unique Dials and History

    Hello everyone,

I had a question on a possible dial change on a Patek Philippe Calatrava Ref. 2484. The dial is very particular and unique. In fact, I have not seen anything like it in any other Calatrava watches. It is from the 50’s. It was recently serviced by Patek and it seems the person who purchased it paid extra to make it unique. The person I contacted to get it told me that it was told to him that this watch is some sort of special edition, due to the silver crescent on the face. The previous owner claims that his great-grandfather won it in a poker game from Paul McCartney. Is there ways to verify this or to know if this watch has some cool extra history?

    Sincerely,

    Elixavier
