27-AM400 with screw balance?

In the above linked article, there is a picture with the caption “The caliber 27 AM 400 movement of a Patek ref 2597”. The picture shows a movement with a screw balance and a swan neck regulator. While some pictures of 27-AM400 movements show early versions with both swan neck regulator and Gyromax balance, I have never seen one with regulation screws on the balance.
Could it be that the picture shows a 12-400 movement from the first series given to Cottier to modify?
