Patek Philippe YELLOW GOLD SELF-WINDING CALATRAVA
The ref. 3998 was launched in 1989 and remained a staple offering in the Patek Philippe collection until being discontinued in 2007. With a water resistant, screw-back 33 mm diameter case, and an attractive date dial layout with sweep seconds, this watch was a commercial success and remains highly desirable to this day.
This example is from the rare first series of the reference’s execution with a caliber 310 SC which was used from 1989 until 1993. Later examples feature the caliber 315 SC. It is preserved in remarkable condition and complete with original box, Certificate of Origin, hang tag and company literature.
