PATEK PHILIPPE YELLOW GOLD REF. 3270/1J
Unique Gilbert Albert's asymmetrical ladies' bracelet watch, made and sold in 1960
Watches and Accessories
This is one of the rarest of all Patek Philippe ladies watches, the ref. 3270/1J. Made and sold in 1960, this is the only known example of this reference in this configuration. The ref. 3270 was made for just two years in 1960 and 1961 and represents a high water mark in Gilbert Albert’s work for Patek Philippe. The two-piece case was made by Markowsky, key mark 8, and is a masterpiece of the art of case-making during this era.
This example was last seen at auction in 2015 when it was sold by Sotheby’s. For the complete story of Gilbert Albert and his work for Patek Philippe, click here.
