PATEK PHILIPPE WRISTWATCH WITH UNUSUAL LUGS REF. 2569-1J

The ref. 2569-1 is a large 35 mm watch that was in production from 1954-1956. The subtle difference between the ref. 2569 and ref. 2569-1 is interesting to note. The ref. 2569 has a rounded ‘hood’ between the lugs while the ref. 2569-1 has a flat and angled ‘hood’, such as with this example. The Stern Fréres dial for either version of this reference has a 9-12-3 layout. Previously, only two examples of this style ref. 2569-1 were known to exist. This is the third example to be discovered.

For someone looking for their first vintage Patek Philippe with exceptional rarity, this well-preserved example is attractively sized for wearing today.
