The ref. 3569 was a backwind automatic that was in production from 1969-1986. The concept of a backwind watch was ingenious — making it easy to wear for both a right or left-handed person. However, in practice, moisture easily permeated the case of these backwind watches and visits to the service center became a frequent rite of passage for owners. On the plus side, many of these watches were beautifully decorated by hand such as this white gold example. The dial is hand engraved and the blue enamel batons bring the dial to life. This watch requires a full restoration to function properly and the watch is sold as-is. Additionally, the lugs appear to have been modified at some point and are not factory quality.
