When the ref. 5078G was released to great fanfare in 2008, seemingly everyone in the high end collecting world wanted to have one. Some things never change! In 2017, the original ref. 5078G version with a white enamel dial with painted roman numerals was discontinued and a new version with a cream enamel dial with applied white gold Breguet numerals was released. At 38 mm, it is the perfect size for the wrist and the present configuration was made for less than two years. The ref. 5078G is now discontinued and we are fortunate when we see a fresh to market original owner example surface – especially when fully complete and in mint condition such as the example we have here. For a watch that is as attractive to the eye as it is the ear, the ref. 5078G is the perfect addition to your collection.
