PATEK PHILIPPE WHITE GOLD MANUAL WRISTWATCH REF. 2573G
Patek Philippe 18k white gold ref. 2573G with signed ‘Hausmann & Co.’ and confirmed diamond baguette dial, Made and Sold in 1962
Watches and Accessories
The ref. 2573 might be familiar with collectors as the “Pearl of the Gulf” (also known as the “Pearl of Bahrain”) that sold at Christie’s for $214,000 in 2022. This ref. 2573G is nearly as rare and important, but at a much lower price point. Its beautiful case and exquisite dial decorated with four baguette diamonds, signed by the legendary Roman retailer Hausmann is an excellent example of a watch that perfectly encapsulates the aesthetics of Patek Philippe. The Extract from the Archives confirms the 4/4 diamond hour markers and the original date of sale in 1962.
