Recently discovered, this fresh-to-market ref. 565A embodies everything one could desire in a vintage grail. The dial, beautifully aged and unrestored, showcases its raised hard enamel signature and impeccably preserved, outer pearling. As Patek Philippe’s first large, waterproof screw-back reference, this ref. 565A features a two-piece, 35mm case made by Taubert—the same case maker responsible for the waterproof cases of iconic references such as the ref. 1463. Produced between 1938 and 1952, this is one of the last examples of this reference. The engraving on the case back is also confirmed on the Extract from the Archives.
