The ref. 3601 was launched in 1970 and made with numerous dial and bracelet configurations. Famously, this reference was customized with Iraqi and Omani emblems on special request. Here we have something very special…. a watch customized for a VIP client with blue dial bearing the initials YWK. Furthermore, the watch was delivered with a second gold dial in cream also with the same initials. These impressive gold dials were made by Stern Frères for Patek Philippe and it is highly unusual to see dials customized by Patek Philippe for a special client, a testament to the importance of this client.
