PATEK PHILIPPE PLATINUM ‘MURAT’ POCKET WATCH
Patek Philippe platinum watch with original fob, box and sales receipt, made in 1923 and sold in 1936
Watches and Accessories
On a trip to Paris in 1936, Mr. A. W. Seymour from Toledo, Ohio bought this exceptional Patek Philippe for the sum of 250 USD. He paid with an American Express check of course. Some pocket watches such as this example are preserved in mint, unrestored condition by being packed away and hidden from the destructive nature of daily life. This watch was discovered with its original box and receipt from Guillermin & Co. Paris discreetly hidden under the red felt.
