Made in the mid 1970s in small numbers,  the yellow 18K gold ref. 3599 is an homage to all things 1970s and complete with a mesh bracelet made by JPE (Jean-Pierre Ecoffey) for Patek Philippe, the celebrated Genevan bracelet atelier (later headed by the one and only Jean-Pierre Hagmann). The large, two-piece rectangular case houses one of the most memorable of Patek Philippe dials from the era. A hand-engraved, central section matches the look and style of the bracelet. This watch was originally sold by Cortina in Singapore as confirmed by its original Certificate of Origin. Heavy in gold, light in price, this is a Patek Philippe for the man or woman who loves the quirkiness of the ’70s era in all its glory.
