PATEK PHILIPPE FIVE MINUTE REPEATING POCKET WATCH
Patek Philippe 18K open-face five minute repeating pocket watch, retailed by Tiffany & Co, made and sold in 1917
Watches and Accessories
“Verite Sans Peur” is boldly engraved on the coat of arms on the back of this beautiful five minute repeating Patek Philippe pocket watch from 1917. With a gold hand-engraved and enamel Breguet numeral dial, this watch unlocks its mysteries with a careful inspection of the movement. The ‘Extra’ quality 18 lignes movement is finished to the highest standard and double signed Patek Philippe and Tiffany & Co. The fob and gold pocket knife that accompany the watch, most likely original, feature a stylized snake. The knife was made by the George Wostenholm company as seen on the blade signature and I*XL trademark. This knife maker proved quite popular with Americans, especially with their now iconic Bowie knife. Now that’s a statement of “Truth Without Fear” in terms of style and quality.
