PATEK PHILIPPE ELLIPSE WRISTWATCH WITH BLUE DIAL, REF. 3738/100J

The Ellipse ref. 3738/100J was first launched in 1984 in 18K yellow and white gold. Numerous dial options were offered and this is the classic and most desired configuration – the blued gold dial on yellow gold. This example from 2007 is complete with box and Certificate of Origin. Interestingly, this example was originally retailed by an authorized retailer in Cairo, Egypt. Since the Greeks learned the concept of the Golden Section from the Egyptians, we find the fact this Ellipse is from Egypt quite a fun footnote to history!
