Watches and Accessories
During the late 19th and early 20th century, Chronometro Gondolo and Labouriau was Patek Philippe’s number one global client. Tiffany & Co was a humble number two in comparison. This Chronometro Gondolo was the watch that built the empire for this prominent Brazilian retailer. From 1872 until 1927, Patek Philippe’s partnership with Chronometro Gondolo created some of the most beautiful pocket and wristwatches at the dawn of the modern era. Don’t forget to listen to the Patek Philippe waltz written especially for the Chronometro Gondolo!
This nearly mint ladies’ watch is small in size and big in quality. Identical in proportions and design to the larger men’s version, this watch features all the elements that make a Gondolo a Gondolo including a double signed dial, 9K gold wheel train, cam-wheel regulator, and of course the moustache lever.
