What does the collector community think about the 2024 released grand complication 5236p-010 in Opaline (salmon) dial, perpetual calendar with in-line day, date, month at 12:00 and moon phase at 6:00? The movement is the 31-260 PS QL with 503 parts, 55 jewels. I find the piece to be a classic representation of a Patek dress watch with such a clean look with the in-line calendar. Also at 41.3mm diameter, yet 11mm height I find it elegantly sized. I am a Patek enthusiast and follower who is “accumulating” pieces and only from the AD path. I do wonder about the USD 140,000 retail price but plan to acquire the piece because it is remarkable craftsmanship with an elegant and classic aesthetic. I’m curious how long time Patek collectors might view the piece.
