This exquisite Ellipse pocket watch was made and sold in 1976 and is the ultimate expression of the art of engraving from Patek Philippe during this era. Featuring a hand-engraved Patek Philippe dial depicting the Calatrava logo, this timepiece is literally a work of art and masterpiece of 1970s Patek Philippe craftsmanship. The ref. 874 was launched in 1976 and stayed in production through the early 1990s. This ref. 874J is accompanied by an extra dial, each dial signed by the retailer Gubelin.
