PATEK PHILIPPE HUNTER CASE POCKET WATCH
Patek Philippe 14K gold pocket watch with gold dial, made 1919
Watches and Accessories
This very well preserved, large hunter case pocket watch is as attractive to the eye today as it was over one hundred years ago. The pleasant surprise with this example is that it has a 14K yellow gold case rather than the typical 18K gold case. In fact, this is the first 14K Patek Philippe hunter case that Collectability has ‘discovered’ and it is an absolute pleasure to see the hallmarks for 14K including the Swiss hallmark with a stamped Squirrel, a detail we encourage you to view under magnification. As we can see on the bezel, this Patek was originally made for the Retailer G. Schmidt-Staub based in Karlsruhe, Germany.
