Made from 1963-1968, the ref. 3497/1G is nicknamed the ‘bow-tie’ for its unusual and distinctive asymmetrical shape. Originally intended as a futuristic gentleman’s watch to be worn with formal wear, the watch is now appreciated for its whimsical design and rarity. Only 4 examples have resurfaced today. The presently offered example is beautifully preserved with a crisp case, original unrestored dial, and full-size bracelet.
