PATEK PHILIPPE YELLOW GOLD TIME ONLY WITH ORIGINAL BOX AND CERT, REF. 592J
The ref. 592 is a rarely seen reference and is recognized by its three-part case and bold lugs. The 33 mm case for this reference was made by Nardin in Le Locle (master key mark 143).
This silvered dial (plastic crystal is pleasantly discolored) features applied yellow gold batons and a yellow gold Roman numeral 12. Made by Stern Frères for Patek Philippe, this beautiful dial has the added distinction of being signed Walser Wald. Walser Wald was an important retailer based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The original Certificate of Origin is also stamped Walser Wald. Additionally, the original box is double signed Patek Philippe and Walser Wald. To date, only 15 examples of the ref. 592 in yellow gold have resurfaced. This fresh-to-market unrestored grail is the 16th known. Collectability will work with the buyer of this watch to restore to their desired level.
