PATEK PHILIPPE MINIATURE FIVE MINUTE REPEATING POCKET WATCH
Patek Philippe 18K open-face five minute repeating pocket watch with Breguet numerals, retailed by Tiffany & Co, made in 1907
Watches and Accessories
This Patek Philippe five-minute repeater was made for Tiffany & Co, New York and delivered in 1912. Exceptionally well priced, beautifully preserved, and just serviced by our watchmaker, this five-minute repeater is the value buy of our era. The five-minute repeating is clear and fills a room with its melodic sound, a point made even more impressive by the small size of the watch. The case features a hidden hinge, the ultimate ‘complication’ of the case maker — with a case that is only 33 mm in diameter. This case is so brilliantly executed that no signs of the hinge can be seen when the case is closed, a testament to the brilliance of the case maker. Retailed by Tiffany, the dial features a Breguet numeral dial with subsidiary seconds dial. The watch is fully archived by Patek Philippe with confirmed case and movement as well as a detailed description of the ‘enamel dial, dauphine-style numerals, red figures, and small seconds.’
