This first series ref. 1491 checks all the boxes for a wearable vintage Patek Philippe. In terms of rarity, less than 400 examples of all variations of the reference were made from 1940-1965. This example has an Archive-confirmed, rose dial with exquisitely painted deco-style numerals and applied faceted gold batons at 9-12-3. The rose gold baton hands and oversized sub-seconds at 6 o’clock give this watch an elegant look. The bold scroll lugs round-out the distinguished design of this important, collectable watch.
