PATEK PHILIPPE OPEN FACE POCKET WATCH
This simple, understated pocket watch is as attractive to the eye today as it was in 1910. The three-piece dial is enamel with breguet numerals and minutes divided into 5 minute intervals; blued steel hands have marked the passage of time for over a century — and still counting. The pleasant surprise with this example is that it has an archived, confirmed 14K yellow gold case rather than the typical 18K gold case. In fact, this is the first 14K Patek Philippe timepiece that Collectability has ‘discovered’ and it is an absolute pleasure to see the hallmarks for 14K including the Swiss hallmark with a stamped Squirrel, a detail we encourage you to view under magnification.
