The Patek Philippe Naviquartz timepieces were originally meant for use on ships and yachts, but quickly became a status symbol for the home or office as can be seen in the attached ad from the 1970s. The refs. 1207 and 1208 were made from 1972 through the mid-1980s. The only difference between this and the ref. 1208 is the dial color.
