PATEK PHILIPPE WHITE GOLD SELF-WINDING REF. 3429G

Made from 1961 until 1969, the ref. 3429 is one of the lesser known references that featured the famed caliber 27-460, Gyromax balance, and the desirable double PP crown.  Thinking of the ref. 3429 in its historical context, we can see that these are very much under-appreciated by the market today and represent an important buying opportunity. With cases made by Wenger and the dials by Stern Frères, the ref. 3429 is one of the most wearable and affordable mid-century vintage automatics on the market today, especially compared to its more famous predecessor the ref. 2526. Less than 1000 examples of the ref. 3429 were made in yellow, white, rose and platinum. However only 13 examples of this reference have appeared to date with a white gold case. This example features a dial that has beautifully and evenly aged as well as a crisp case that shows very little signs of use.
