The ref. 3415 was introduced in 1959 and discontinued shortly after in 1960, making way for its successor, the ref. 3429. Crafted in yellow gold, rose gold, and a few rare examples in platinum, it stands out as one of the select references powered by the self-winding caliber 12-600AT. Featuring a screw-back case, distinctive lugs, and a Stern Frères dial, this watch represents the pinnacle of the 12-600AT era. The engraved-enameled dial by Stern Frères is a masterpiece in itself—but the true finishing touch is the original Gay Frères bracelet, made specifically for Patek Philippe and dated 2/60 (sized for a 6.5-inch wrist). A turn of the original double-signed PP 18K rose gold crown offers a satisfying tactile experience, bringing to life the beautifully engineered self-winding caliber within. To date, only three examples of the ref. 3415 have been identified, and this is the only known piece with an Archive-confirmed original bracelet.
