PATEK PHILIPPE ROSE GOLD MOONPHASE POWER RESERVE REF. 5055R WITH ROSE DIAL
The Patek Philippe ref. 5055R combines understated elegance with mechanical sophistication in a 36 mm rose gold case. Introduced in 1998 and produced for only a few short years until 2004, the ref. 5055 features an asymmetrical dial layout that became an instant classic among collectors. Its rose (copper) dial — here paired with applied Arabic numerals and luminous hands — displays a moon-phase, date, and power-reserve indicator, alongside a small seconds at 4 o’clock. Powered by the ultra-thin self-winding Caliber 240 PS IRM C LU with a 22k micro-rotor, the ref. 5055R exemplifies Patek Philippe’s ability to blend technical ingenuity with refined aesthetics. Only 15 examples in rose gold have resurfaced to date.
Collectability Says:
“The ref. 5055R is a masterclass in Patek Philippe’s design language at the turn of the millennium. Its pink on pink dial, thick case, and beloved 240 caliber make it one of the most wearable and distinctive complicated watches from the early 2000s.”
