The ref. 5235 was released at Baselworld in 2012 and surprised the market with its unexpected design based on earlier regulators. It was the first time Patek Philippe combined a regulator dial with an Annual Calendar. Often misunderstood for its historical importance, the first series of ref. 5235 is finally being understood as an icon of early 21st Patek Philippe design. It is certainly as unusual as it is beautiful.
