The Patek Philippe Naviquartz clocks were originally meant for use on ships and yachts, but quickly became a status symbol for one’s desk. The Naviquartz III was designed specifically for home and office use and includes a presentation panel with its three-part mahogany case. Interestingly, Henri Stern had an early ref. 1215 engraved with his name and the date May 1, 1974.
The Naviquartz III was made from 1972 through the mid-1980s and this example is one from the final series.
