The ref. 2457 was introduced in 1949 as a successor to the iconic ref. 96. It features a dial crafted by Stern Frères and a case made by Antoine Gerlach (key number 4). Unlike the ref. 96, the ref. 2457 has a beveled case back design with a flat back, reminiscent of the ref. 570 case. Around 50 examples in yellow gold have been identified to exist today.
