PATEK PHILIPPE GOLD GENT’S POCKET WATCH

This is a truly unusual Art Deco era watch that was originally made for a gentleman. The first thing you will notice is the winding and setting crown at 6 o’clock which is highly unusual and an elegant flourish to this watch. The black dial stands out in original unrestored condition with applied gold Arabic and dot hour markers. The original retail signature can be seen above 6 o’clock. Gubelin was founded and based in Lucerne and is one of Switzerland’s most famous watch retailers. This watch is recently serviced and features the monogram FLM: Fun, Love, and Money is our best guess, or if you have a more cynical view of things, you might read the monogram as FML instead.
