PATEK PHILIPPE CHRONOGRAPH REF. 5170R

Here’s another ‘sleeper’ that collectors are just starting to further appreciate. The ref. 5170 was first released in yellow gold in 2010 with Roman numerals and a pulsation dial. The ref. 5170 replaced the ref. 5070 and differed from it considerably, most notably with the size of the ref. 5170 at 39.4 mm compared to the 5070s 42 mm. In addition, the ref. 5170 featured a new in-house caliber compared to the discontinued Lemania based caliber of its predecessor. In 2013, the ref. 5170 was made in white gold with Breguet dials and pulsemeter. Finally, in 2016, it was introduced in rose gold with breguet numerals and a classic 60 minute register.
