The ref. 5170 occupies a special place in Patek Philippe’s modern chronograph lineage. Introduced in 2010 as the successor to the iconic ref. 5070, the ref. 5170 was the first Patek Philippe chronograph to feature the fully in-house caliber CH 29-535 PS. With its classical 39 mm Calatrava-style case, balanced two-register dial, and hand-finished movement, the reference has quickly become a contemporary classic.
The present example in 18k white gold, ref. 5170G, was made and sold in 2013. Offered here as a full set with original box, certificate, and accessories, it represents a rare opportunity to acquire a complete and well-preserved example of Patek Philippe’s celebrated hand-wound chronograph.
