PATEK PHILIPPE GOLD AND BLUE ENAMEL LIGHTER REF. 9511
The Patek Philippe lighters were made with dozens of design variations and only recently started to be classified and catalogued. The known lighters and examples shown in literature suggest these lighters were only made in 18K yellow gold or 18K white gold and feature a variety of designs.
Previously unknown, this blue enamel ref. 9511 is the holy grail of Patek Philippe lighters. Not only has this reference never before been seen in public, its rarity is further solidified by the khanjar boldly engraved on its cover. It is the ultimate Patek Philippe accessory and it is Collectability’s honor to offer what may very well be a once-in-a lifetime opportunity to own a Patek Philippe lighter in this configuration.
Presumably a gift from the late Sultan of Oman during the late 1980s, this lighter features a khanjar engraving that is typically only seen on the green enamel lighters. This blue enamel lighter with khanjar surprises as much as it delights with its uniquely noble color and exceptional condition.
